Bridge Replacement Options from $5,500 to $10,000

Your first set of teeth placed by Dr Norcross are made of high-impact acrylic that is reinforced with a milled titanium bar hidden within the bridge. When it’s time to replace your first bridge, you may choose from one of four options.

Remodeling of existing bridge $5,500

Remodeling-of-existing-acrylic-bridge

Remodeling the existing bridge involves stripping back and replacing the worn acrylic and teeth over the original titanium frame. This is the most economic option to replace a bridge however, no changes are permitted to the original design, and you will be without teeth during the remodeling process.

Replacement titanium-reinforced acrylic bridge $8,500

Titanium-reinforced acrylic bridge replacement (2)

A brand new titanium-reinforced acrylic bridge is made. Your replacement bridge is designed with a polished titanium frame that is in contact with the gums. This bridge is easier to clean and promotes a hygienic environment under the bridge. Acrylic may last between 2 to 5 years on average, or sometimes longer with proper care.

Monolithic zirconia bridge from $9,500

Monolithic-zirconia-bridge

Upgrade your first set of teeth with a stronger, more durable and aesthetic zirconia bridge. This is a monolithic zirconia bridge milled from a single block of zirconia. The bridge is reinforced with a titanium frame and may last between 10 to 15 years on average.

Porcelain-layered zirconia bridge from $10,000

Porcelain-layered-zirconia

Replace your first bridge with the ultimate option in aesthetics, a porcelain-layered zirconia bridge. Porcelain has a translucency that mimics the natural look of tooth enamel. This bridge option is also reinforced with a titanium frame.

Treatment consultation $73

Includes a full assessment of your mouth, photographs and treatment discussion with Dr Norcross. Patients with private health insurance and dental cover may be able to claim part or all of this cost.

3D (CBCT) scan $226

3D-CBCT-Bone-Scan

Before proceeding with treatment, we require a 3D CBCT scan to check the amount of available jaw bone. This scan allows us to provide you with a full estimate for treatment.

You may also choose to send us a recent 3D CBCT scan from another dentist to save the cost of another one.

3D Guided implant surgery $435

Digitally-Guided-surgery-surgical-guide

A more predictable, less invasive form of surgery (compared to freehand surgery) recommended for when single implants need to be placed close to nerves, other teeth and when there is limited bone. More complex cases may require additional treatment such as bone and/or gum grafting to achieve desired results. Costs of these procedures can vary and can be discussed during your consultation.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. All-On-4® treatment at Perth Dental Implant Centre is supported by a 5-year warranty covering Nobel Biocare dental implants; a 5-year warranty covering the titanium bar and a 2-year warranty covering acrylic teeth. This warranty is subject to attending scheduled implant reviews, six-monthly check-ups and hygiene maintenance appointments.

When it comes to performing dental implant surgery, there are no regulations on the amount of training a general dentist must complete before they can place dental implants. A general dentist may complete a 1 or 2-day course and begin placing implants with little experience. However, studies have shown that experience significantly affects the success of dental implant treatment.

PDIC founder, Dr David Norcross has attended various advanced implant dentistry programs and residencies, including a 1-year Master Clinician in Implant Dentistry program at the Global Institute for Dental Education (gIDE) and University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), clinical residencies at both the Malo Clinic in Melbourne and in Portugal (home of All-On-4) learning about advanced techniques in full arch rehabilitation using the All-On-4® technique. He is a member of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and Australian Society of Implant Dentistry and has restricted his clinical practice to surgical and implant dentistry.

When you choose Dr Norcross for implant surgery, your smile is in experienced hands.

Yes. We offer flexible payment plans, with Zip to help you access dental care sooner and we’re also a SuperCare – early access to superannuation provider.

Learn more about Accessing Your Super for All-On-4 Dental Implants.

For a single dental implant, the treatment can take 3-9 months to complete and a number of appointments. We may also need to take x-rays of the implant and bone at different stages of the treatment. We do not charge for additional visits or x-rays required during your implant treatment.

Crowns, bridges, implant-retained dentures and fixed implant bridges are all meticulously designed and crafted by an experienced dental lab technician. We may use a specific dental lab depending on the treatment you’re receiving.

We work with the following dental labs: Oral Aesthetics; Digital Dental Creations; Patrick Barrett-Lennard from Dental Engineering and Osteon Medical.

The experience of the person designing your teeth is another cost variable. The more skilled and experienced they are, the higher the design quality, customisation and cost.

We use a new and minimally invasive technique to place dental implants , using computer guided 3D printed surgical guides. This allows us to place dental implants using a form of keyhole surgery, making the process much quicker, safer and less invasive. Watch our video on keyhole surgery to see how it works.

Dental implant costs usually start from $4250 for a single tooth implant. Total treatment costs can vary depending on your unique needs, how many implants you’re having placed, whether bone or gum grafting is needed, the dental implant system you choose, crown or bridge materials and the experience of the prosthetist manufacturing your teeth.

At Perth Dental Implant Centre, we develop a dental implant treatment plan to perfectly meet your dental and financial needs for the best outcome. During your initial consultation, we assess your suitability for dental implants, all cost options, payment plan solutions and check any private health fund rebates you may be entitled to, using our HICAPS machine.
