At Perth Dental Implant Centre, we provide a range of dental services to replace missing teeth and restore your oral health.
While dental implants are recommended for their durable and natural-looking aesthetics, they may not be suitable for everyone. Our general dentists at EVP Dental and Kelmscott Dental offer a number of implant alternatives, as well as other dental treatments for all your dental care needs.
If you’re concerned about your smile, make an appointment to meet our friendly team today. Our Head dentist, Dr David Norcross, can advise you on the best treatment option for your needs.
Our denture services include:
A dental bridge is one or more prosthetic teeth in a row that bridges the gap left by a missing tooth or multiple teeth. Bridges are anchored down by existing healthy teeth on each side of the gap and reinforced using crowns. A bridge can be a suitable treatment solution when dentures are loose, uncomfortable or lacking aesthetically, or when dental implants are not a viable option.
Bone grafting is a surgical procedure that aims to build up missing jaw bone back to its original state to support natural teeth or dental implants. Small amounts of bone taken from the mouth are combined with artificial bone and placed in the area where jaw bone has been lost. The transplanted bone is covered by a membrane and left to fully integrate and heal within the mouth. A bone graft is often done at the same time as dental implant surgery.
A gum graft is another surgical procedure used to repair receding gums. Gum recession can cause tooth sensitivity and make teeth look longer.During a gum graft procedure, small areas of gum tissue are taken from other areas of the mouth and carefully transplanted into the areas where gum is missing. Alternatively, a synthetic gum material called AlloDerm® can be used to repair and strengthen damaged gums.Gum grafting is sometimes needed around dental implants to achievea more pleasing aesthetic result.
A sinus lift procedure aims to graft extra bone into the upper jaw bone where the sinus cavity has expanded in the absence of a tooth root. The procedure can often be done at the same time as dental implant surgery, first by accessing the sinus through the upper jaw bone, carefully lifting the sinus membrane and then filling the area with a bone graft material.
